Do you understand your fertility? Won't knowing when you are most fertile be an advantage when you are trying to achieve pregnancy? How can you recognize this most fertile period?

Serena offers you a simple method: the Sympto-Thermal Method (STM).

The Sympto-Thermal Method offers you the ability to understand the menstrual cycle. It will help the fertile couple to determine the ovulatory phase of the cycle, which is the time when intercourse is most likely to result in pregnancy. Although ovulation itself is not pinpointed, the presence and change in the fertility signs indicate that the window of opportunity is opening, and the rise in the basal body temperature indicates that ovulation has occurred and the window has closed for that cycle.

The interpretation of a woman's sympto-thermal charts helps a couple to uncover possible concerns such as:
Am I fertile? Do I ovulate? In a fertile cycle, the basal body temperature graph will have two phases. Ovulation is confirmed by a rise in the basal body temperature. If a woman's charts continually show low temperatures without a sustained higher level, it is likely a sign of infertility, as without ovulation fertilization is not possible. When is the best time to conceive? The most fertile days are the days prior to ovulation. By closely monitoring the characteristics of the cervical mucus and the changes in the cervix, couples are able to recognize and take advantage of their time of maximum fertility. Couples are often under the false impression that they are most fertile when the temperature has risen. In fact, the temperature rises after ovulation has occurred. Therefore, couples should not use the temperature as their guide, but rather, base intercourse timing on the fertile signs.
Do I have healthy cycles? The Sympto-Thermal Method can document problems such as anovulatory episodes and irregular menstrual patterns which can diminish the chances of becoming pregnant. Cycles that are too short, too long, or irregular, or post-ovulatory phases that are too short or too irregular are identified with the use of the Sympto-Thermal Method. In that way the STM may help uncover possible causes of infertility in a couple having difficulty conceiving. Am I pregnant? The sympto-thermal graph allows you, yourself, to confirm that you are pregnant. You can then review your lifestyle to optimize your baby’s pre-natal development, and to have a more pleasing and relaxed pregnancy.
